Blană AVAILABILITY

 Blană is an euphonious project by Danish Ana Katarina, founder of DJ Social Club and Subterrania, resident at Vietnam based label Magic Box Engine and Melbournian collectives Hindsight Music and Rewired Rhythms. 

Her adventure into music kickstarted in 2017 while traveling through Romania, where she met multiple like minded people who introduced her to the Romanian minimal sound. She fell in love with the deep rominimal groove and decided to learn how to DJ in order to bring this sound with her and share it with the world. 

In 2019 Blană was busy spreading her signature sound onto Vietnamese dance floors all the way from Sapa to Saigon. While spending most of her time in Hanoi she soon became a resident at Magic Box Engine and This is events. 

After arriving in Melbourne she launched DJ Social Club and their open decks event series, a gathering for all music lovers and spinners to connect, create and evolve. Meanwhile promoting the underground minimal movement with the experimental platform: Subterrania.
